This headset is similar to the Plantronics aviation headset, which many camera operators still utilize and love. (This headset is for use with Custom In-Ear Monitors or a set of commercially available earbuds on the market as this unit comes with a mic only and an in-line jack for the in-ear receivers.)
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WHEN YOU SELECT THE CONNECTOR OPTION, IF YOU SELECT THE MINI XLR YOU WILL GET THE MINI XLR AND REGULAR XLR THAT YOU CHOOSE (HENCE THE EXTRA CHARGE). YOU CAN ORDER OTHER XLR ADAPTERS FROM THE ADAPTERS PAGE THAT YOU MAY NEED. THE OTHER OPTIONS ARE FOR A HARD WIRED XLR NO ABILITY TO CHANGE CONNECTORS.

I can’t live without the neck mic. No more sweaty ears and headset hair. I’ve never looked better after a long day in the studio and the ability to use my favorite earphones/buds makes even the toughest director sound easy on the ears. No kidding, highly recommended!

Got my second back-up neck mic now. Can’t work without it.
Must also add that Erik does really great work, accommodates custom requests, and ships lightning fast overseas.

Love this headset! I recently used it for baseball and football games, and couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable piece of equipment. Erik was great with helping to get it to me as fast as possible as well!

Awesome headset, especially on a 90 degree day as I don’t even know I’m wearing the headset. I love the option to change the pin outs to match any camera or IC box I come across.
The only thing I would add is a pull tab on the ear insert for easy removal.
Buy this system! You will never go back to muff headsets.

One of my co-workers had this mic and he would let use it for a while until I finally ordered my own. This is honestly the best and most comfortable headset for any camera operator out there. I always hate using the old muff headsets from the trucks that are not the cleanest, give you bad hair, and hurt your head during multiple all day tournaments. This neck headset fixes that problem! I use it for all of my gigs with baseball, soccer, basketball, and anything else. It is truly an awesome piece of equipment that all camera ops need to have with them to keep the professional and clean look. I use the wired Bose Soundsport In-ear headphones with this headset.
